Christina 'Chris' Prussen is a New York based Costume Technician & Props Artist with a love for odd-jobs and unconventional costuming. Exposing themselves to a wide variety of sci-fi, fantasy, and cult classic films during their childhood, their love for strange costumes has only grown with every new project they get their hands on. At college, they are often found jumping from costume shop, to prop shop, to scene shop, getting involved with just about any project they can.
They graduated from Purchase college's Conservatory of Theatre Arts, with a BFA in Theatre Design and Technology, with concentrations in costume technology May 2021.
They now work as The Metropolitan Opera's Costume Crafts & Millinery assistant as of November 2021.
